Treat your self with a break from your daily life, let your self relax, while curiously learning about yourself while your lifeforce expand.
This spring treat is a chance for you to get an active relaxation in your body and mind trough yin yoga in beautiful surroundings, delicious homemade vegan food in the Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca.
By working over 7 days with Yin Yoga, you will experience a deep relaxation and openness in your body. Yin Yoga, is known for its therapeutic approach to restore the balance between body and mind, by activating the parasympatic nervesystem, the inner organs and opening up tendons in the connective tissue. All poses will be sitting and lying down for 3-5 min connecting the body, breath and mind.
Based on Chinese Medicine, Meridian Theory and Taoism, yin yoga works on releasing tensions and tightness of the body, especially around the lower back, hips, neck and shoulder. Everyone can participate in yin yoga and if you are beginner yin is the safest way to start your yoga journey.
With a history as HR consultant in the military to the engineer business to project manager in the tourist business in the remoteness of Denmark, Kristine found herself in The Philippines and with 1800 hours of yoga training, where most are pure Yin yoga, she started to teach. In Denmark, she is called the Queen of yin and with good reason as her understanding of Yin and Yang together with her great teaching have given her opportunities to share outside Denmark.
Kristine Marie Rost has completed over 1200h of pure Yin Yoga Teacher Training in the Yin style with focus on The Meridians system. Her way of teaching is unique, and calming. With her years of experience, she has hosted retreats in Portugal and Sri Lanka and her students says: “I love doing yin yoga at Kristine’s classes. Kristine’s professional background as a YY instructor is a. specialist in Yin Yoga therapy with more than 1200 hrs. of training in pure Yin Yoga (by mainly Victor Chngs Teacher Training in Singapore and Denmark.
Kristine has experienced firsthand knowledge of how Yin Yoga helps you handle the ups and downs that life has to offer you. How it enables you to just be yourself and live life without the burdens of old feelings and sentiments. And how it strengthens your ability to find the beauty of life, even on rainy days. This is the main reason for her Yin passion, and the reason why she is so eager to spread the word and feeling of Yin Yoga.
